The Ross Precision
Competition Rifle
The Ross Precision competition rifle
represents years of painstaking design and engineering to achieve the
ultimate expression of performance and safety for competitive shooting
enthusiasts. From simplifying frequent barrel replacement, and providing
the fastest possible lock time, to eliminating all factors that erode
absolute accuracy, the Ross Precision competition rifle is a rifle any
shooter would be proud to own. It is made up of two main components.
"Gilkes" Designed Steel
Action Manufactured by "Ross Precision"

Cartridge Interchangeability
The same bolt and receiver assembly can accommodate a wide range of
cartridge types and sizes from the standard .223 case to the .308 family
of cases – even out to the magnum dimensions – by easily and quickly
replacing the bolt head.
Anschutz Precision Components
The Ross Precision competition rifle incorporates an Anschutz trigger
and an Anschutz-style top rail that accommodates the Anschutz family of
rear sights. Also available is an easily-installed, top-mounted adapter
for the Warner, Redfield and RPA rear sight models.

Ross Precision Universal
Aluminum Stock

The uniquely designed Ross Precision aluminum stock is machined from a
solid bar of T-6061 aluminum. All fasteners requiring significant torque
have heli-coil inserts installed. The stock accepts a wide range of
barreled actions with no modifications of any kind by simply removing
the eight screws of the barrel clamp and dropping an entirely different
barreled action into the stock. The fully-dressed stock weighs
significantly less than conventional wooden laminate and composite
competition stocks. In fact, our Palma configuration rifle, with a
30-inch barrel, and our steel action – perhaps the heaviest in its class
– both weigh-in under the 6.5 kg limit. The Ross Precision stock can be
adjusted to fit the most particular shooter because there are no
compromises in total adjustability. The cheek piece is fully adjustable
for offset and longitudinal cant, and the height can instantly adjust
while you are in position. It can also be easily detached for bore
cleaning without losing adjustment settings. The butt plate assembly has
5-axis adjustability including pitch, length-of-pull, cant, cast-off and
plate height. The entire butt assembly also adapts easily to other
manufacturer’s butt accessories. The stock also incorporates wood
forearm panels, cheek-piece and an ergonomically-designed and textured
pistol grip. Finally, an electrostatic powder coating is applied to the
exposed surfaces for beauty and durability.
